FAQs
What’s the first step to buying a home?
Start with a strategy call.
I always recommend a 15-minute discovery call first — it’s where we talk about your goals, timeline, and any fears or questions you have. From there, I’ll guide you to the right lender, prep you for approval, and build a custom plan that makes sense for you. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own — that’s what I’m here for.
How do I choose a good lender?
It’s not just about rates — it’s about communication.
A good lender explains things clearly, responds quickly, and structures your loan based on your lifestyle — not just your max approval. I work with trusted lenders who are excellent with first-time buyers and will take time to educate you, not pressure you. I’m happy to connect you with a few I personally trust.
What if I don’t have 20% down?
You don’t need that much.
Most of my first-time buyers put down 3% to 5%, and some qualify for special assistance programs with 0% down. You might also be eligible for grants, credits, or loans that help cover your down payment or closing costs. Let's talk about what programs are a fit for you — I can guide you through it step by step.
